I am a  Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence within the
Information Technologies Research Center (CITIUS). My current research interests are evolutionary algorithms, genetic fuzzy systems, motion planning and control in robotics, visual SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), web services and process mining.

Teaching

Projects
  • SoftLearn: Soft computing for process mining in e-learning

  • New scheduling models of production processes in the naval industry

  • PROMARES - VACCA: environmental protection of the coast and the marine environment - development of an autonomous vehicle for the control of the quality of waters

  • Intelligent and social platform for the integration, management and diffusion of e-learning contents

  • DARBO: automated non-conventional fuzzy rules discovery: fuzzy temporal and TSK of variable structure knowledge bases

  • Learning of self-adaptive behaviors in robotics using 3D perception in non-structured and populated environments
